Default iTunes Match

Since the latest iTunes update, iTunes Match is a mess. My new CD downloads are not appearing properly or being shared through the Cloud to my devices.

CDs I add are missing songs, or become lost to iTunes even though they are on my hard drive. If I close and open iTunes, new CDs I added disappear entirely.

Hours spent on the phone with Apple support have been fruitless. They don't seem to understand the problem and are suggesting drastic changes like creating new libraries or re-installing iTunes. I'm reluctant to mess with my big collection when the problem seems entirely to do with bugs in the latest update.

Everything worked perfectly well for many months until this week.

iTunes Match was a mess for me from day 1. I eventually did a system restore to fix my libraries, and disabled it immediately after. Worst money I've spent on music in a long, long time.

What the blazes is going on with iTunes today?

On my home computer I can't open iTunes at all now. I get a message that iTunes was not installed correctly? When I look in the music folders, the default player is now something called Groove?

You can't call Apple Support now. There is no answer when you call them.

Is there a huge system wide problem?

Did a new Windows update over-ride iTunes with Groove?

Groove seems to have found all of my music, including new albums I added recently. This is bizarre.

I need iTunes to work, because I DJ with iMatch on my iPad through the radio board.

Groove is the built in music player for Windows 10. Something corrupted iTunes. Try reinstalling it.
