I still can't believe they traded Shinkaruk for Granlund.
Granlund with Vancouver: 16 games played, 2 goals, 1 assist.
Shinkaruk with Calgary: 7 games played, 2 goals, 1 assist.

Frankly I am terrified of losing Jooris and Bouma! Roomates of our youngstars. They move out and Monahan and Gaudreau have to pay the bills all on their own.
They are gonna need big raises! Treliving if you ship the above mentioned players out its gonna cost you!

I actually like Jooris, so I would hope someone in the east picks him up. I don't want to cheer against him if he signs with the Canucks.
I think he can make it as an NHLer.

I could see the Canucks trading a 2nd and a forward like Hansen or Burrows to the Sabres for Kane. It appears Kane is wearing thin in Buffalo and the Canucks are rumored to be looking for a winger with some edge. Miss out on Lucic leads me to believe the other hometown boy Kane could be the plan B

That would John Weisbrod behind these moves. Say what you want about Feaster but he's much more competent than Weisbrod who is nothing more than a snake oil salesman that was unearthed as a fraud in Calgary. He's fortunate to have an old acquaintance in Vancouver who is his equal as far as incompetence goes dumb enough to hire him.
