Has Courtney Love Gone Too Far?

Man I wish she would just go away. This is a horrible thing to do to that girl of theirs.
On the eve of her comeback, with a new album and single in shops later this year, Love agreed to be part of famed photographer Dave LaChapelle's new book of challenging photos, 'Heaven and Hell'.
In the shot, Love - who was married to the Nirvana legend from February 1992 to April 2004 - poses holding a dying man closely resembling Cobain. The shot is set up to resemble a well-known biblical image of the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ, with Love wearing the same blue dress Mary is depicted in. However, the man has wounds on his body representing injection marks, rather than crucifixion wounds.

Well all this Kurt Cobain as some kind of martyr or religous symbol has gone way too far already (and Im a huge fan of the guy)..its just silly and stupid and I think it actually hurts his musical legacy. And Courtney Love perpetuating it further is nothing more than an attention whore doing what she does best, which incidentally, isn't writing/playing music. I am and have been disgusted by Courtney Love for a while now, and this doesn't do anything to change that.

Hole: Celebrity Skin is one of my fav. albums, but Courtney is one F'd up chick. IMO Kurt Cobain is over rated, and I don't think anyone that commits suicide should be praised like he is. He wrote songs, he didn't cure cancer people.

I actually see the creativity in it. Could it be tasteless to some? Sure I could see how it would?.But I've seen far worse and I wouldn't call it going too far.

I don't see anything wrong with the art, except that I hate the fact that Courtney Love is continuing to use Curt Cobain even after his death.... which she may have actually had a hand in. (Not to open up a can of worms on that).

Love is a stupid skank, but i don't see the big deal with the picture. Nirvana has to be the most over rated band of all time. anyone who would get upset at that picture for it's content is too uptight
the only thing that bugs me about that photo is that i've seen her ugly face another time
