That's not a terrible deal IMO. $4.5 is a decent cap hit for a top 4 Dman and he's not old either so 5 year term is OK too.

Would leave Pysyk and Petrovic exposed.

if they hadn't made that Hall trade and signed Demers instead (who they hosted together with Lucic a few days ago IIRC):
Hall and Demers for a combined 10.5m
