Thanks for your email.
Currently, we do not have tickets available in the press level and at this time it doesn’t look like there will be the available inventory to release any seats.
Sorry to hear that you couldn’t find the seats you were hoping for and best of luck with getting season tickets.

That's pretty disappointing, I guess I'll be deferring to next year.

Yeah....maybe they won't release them as seasons, but as game packs or something? I dunno, you make a good point. It just makes no sense to me that there are NO press level seats available. That just can't be true.

If you are in the PL, do you not have to wait longer to into the general relocation?

I don't know the specifics as I was a ticket holder before this plan came to fruition, but my understanding is that you could 'jump the line' in your hot house place if you accepted PL's for season tickets. The caveat was that you had to stay in the PL's for a minimum of I believe it was 3 seasons before you could relocate.
Im not sure however how it would work if you simply went through and waited your turn in the Hot House and elected to purchase PL's then looked to relocate the year after. I would assume so long as you didn't jump the line, you could relocate from PL's in year one.
Again, this is all just my observations over the past few years in reading what others have said who came in and went through that program so I may not be the best source, but Im sure I'm not far removed from it.
They also did an incentive for PL's where if you chose them, you got a free drink, burger and popcorn or something for every game. So I imagine some folks jumped on this as well which filled up the PL's and is keeping them locked in for a few years. Between that and others possibly relocating to the PL's during the economic downturn, it's why I feel there are less options if any up there. 'Heep223' is definitely on to something as well however. I'm sure the answer is somewhere in the middle.

During regular relocation not many PL seats available then either. More greens even.
Mostly triples and singles during my session. I think they are just popular, so cheap, people that have them won't swap them unless they get good greens.

Remember that for most of the Saddledome's history, the seats behind the walkway in the 300 level were never available for purchase as season tickets. It was only in the last few years that they started offering them to people on the Hot House list as "While You Wait" tickets.
It makes sense for them to do that if the Hot House waiting list was really long and they were having a hard time selling out those 300 level seats for a lot of games. If the Hot House list is depleted now, it doesn't make sense for them to still offer that deal to people.

Actually that makes sense to me now - thank you for your insight. In fact I only signed up to the Hot House a couple of weeks ago so clearly the wait list is pretty much non-existent.

Checked couple times today as it's our turn as HH members. Don't see much I like but looks like people are picking them off as I see the selection getting smaller.

Hey bud.
You can hold a set but only for a few minutes as you look around. This is how it was for relocation, anyway.

Well, looks like I will be passing on this opportunity. Only pairs available today were 6k+. I was looking at max 3274.86 section. Only triples and singles left.. So if anyone wants to buy a single in 215, I would greatly appreciate that so I can get a pair

I'll be passing too. Disappointed but not overly surprised. Just can't afford $12,159 for a pair of the cheapest tickets available - unless i win the lottery this weekend

If either of you, or anyone else reading this who were unable to get tickets but still wants to go to some games are interested, PM me your email address. We go to about 16-18 games ourselves and sell the rest off to friends via an email we send out with a list of available games. We just sell them all for the tier 1 face value price; there's 4 tiers/prices for the same seats based on night of the week and opponent. So we sell ours all for $111 I think it was, even if they're listed $129, $139 or $149. It just makes it easy for our friends to know the set price, not have to barter online, and not overpay. And for most games they're getting below face value all the same. There's cheaper deals for some opponents for sure on Kijiji, but other more popular games are well above face value. So we just make it simple for everyone. We always end up with a few we don't sell, but we send those to charity so it all works out great.
Anyway, just let me know and we can add you if you like. We send it out in September and once more mid-season.
Cheers folks.

Is there a link or website to get this tier face value pricing? I am interested to see what it is. Thanks

I don't believe there is, no. As noted, mine were $149, $139, $129, and I believe $111. By the time the season rolls around they'll have all the face value (door) prices set for each game and they'll each be one of 4 prices set per respective section. I'm in the whites so the above were mine last season.

We can only dream, I think it will take at least 8 years before we can watch a game at the new Areana. I went to the chicago stadium few years ago for playoffs and the Areana was like a mall. Very good and interesting food, high tech and escalators everywhere. The experience was much better and they have displays of Stanley cup stuff all around the place and the team store is at least 5x larger than ours.
The only bad thing is the tickets will be much more expensive and we may have to pay equity to secure our own seats & season ticket payments.

I think I'd rather just do it like Edmonton and have an online seat selection.
Detroit makes it look more like a timeshare presentation where they just try to upsell everyone to buy club seats.
