Oilers trade Taylor Hall to NJ for Adam Larsson. 1 For 1.

EDM and NJD appear to be edging closer to completion of a trade involving Taylor Hall. Could be imminent. Not official yet.

On draft weekend, there was a rumour NJ/EDM discussing a Taylor Hall/Adam Larsson deal with other pieces. We will see if gaining steam.

I think Hall is the better player for sure, but Oilers have to accept a loss in a trade with their 2nd original real rebuild superstars. This is as good a trade as they will get.

Hall is bad and the grease will be a better team when he's gone, no matter the return. I really hope he retires an Oiler.

I think Hall has the capability still to be a superstar in the NHL. It really seems like he never had any structure from the previous Oilers coaches. He's young enough that a team can shape him into a dangerous 2 way player.
