Ok, thanks

Gaudreau - Monahan - Frolik
Ferland - Bennett - Colborne
Raymond - Backlund - Chiasson
Bouma - Stajan - Hathaway
Grant

Brodie - Hamilton - Brodie
Giordano - Wideman
Jokipakka - England
Nakladal

Elliott
Ortio

Raymond will get a 2nd chance with a new coach, no UFA's, most realistic roster.

I see a lot of people are counting Pribyl out, hope he comes out with a purpose right away. Hockey is hockey and I don't think he'll have much trouble adjusting to NA.

Serious question : we lost Russell and Hudler . We gained a goalie . Is that enough to make playoffs?

A lot of these lineups look very weak and bottom 5 without Elliott standing on his head to me

We gained Jokipakka and Tkachuk. Our young guys will improve (Shinaruk and Bennett).

Still hoping we sign a top 6F on July 1st but adding Elliott helps very very significantly

We lost...
Hudler - He didn't produce much last year and lost a step.
Russell - His defense consisted of blocking shots without much defending or moving the play out of the defensive zone.
Hiller & Ramo - The worst goalie tandem last year.

If anything, we added by subtracting. No Hiller should be good for 6-10 points alone.

Who knows if BT and staff did enough to make the playoffs but I like our chances with the new additions and especially those subtractions.

Very fair question. And IMO the drop off from Russell to Jokipakka is steeper than most think. Factor in possible loss of Colborne.

I don't believe you can count on Shinkaruk or Tkachuk, but have to hope that some forward steps up in camp this year. Maybe one of them.

But significantly better goaltending, better system and big improvements from Bennett and Hamilton could make a large difference. Maybe Ferland makes an impact this year too.

I guess anything is possible but Chiasson is one of our only Right shots. Makes more sense having him on the right side.

Also where is Ferland?

For all of you putting Tkachuk in there, do you think he will be ready. Really hoping we get another to 6 forward, lot's of RFA's that have not yet been qualified.

I just want to keep him away from 4th line center. Too slow and soft for that spot.

Plus, our top line is pretty clear, but the other two are interchangeable so it's more of a top line, two middle lines, and a 4th line banger line with some speed.
