Flames Bargain Bin UFA Right-Winger Options

Flamesnation had this article up focusing on some potential targets:

http://flamesnation.ca/2016/6/28/che...for-the-flames

Gotta say, most of those options look worth exploring. Marchessault perhaps?

Connelly, DSP and Pirri. All three bring different games to the table. Beau Bennett I feel would break stepping onto western conference ice.

I'd definitely give Connolly a shot.

Based on what Cali says, Pirri.

Connolly, Pirri and Smith-Pelly are all interesting options. Signing one on a short-term deal could reap rewards for sure.

Good article. Connolly and Pirri are certainly interesting ideas.

it's a shame about Bennett ... the talent is certainly there, but that injury record is brutal already. He'd get killed in the Western Conference.

That is an okay list if you are looking for a 3rd liner at best. Pirri is about the only with top 6 potential

Pirri is the only one that I would consider of that list, although he seems to have missed his share of games as well.

Connolly has never impressed me, DSP is too inconsistent, and Gagner is softer than butter. No thanks.

Sam Gagner as a bottom 6er... lol

None of the guys in that article are any better than Chiasson. And let's see what we have in Pribyl. Also, it's time for Poirier to take a step forward.

Finally, Tkachuk could surprise.

I don't see that article offering any improvements on the hopefuls that we've already got.

No to Bennett because having "S. Bennett" on a jersey looks stupid.
