Or is it so bad it's not even worth $8.49. It has 'mixed' reviews on steam.
I bought it for 15$ a few Steam Sales ago. It's pretty, but that's the best thing about it. The "feel" isn't terribly good and the competition structure is poor.

Didn't buy anything on Steam this sale (at least so far), but I finally decided to buy Dragon Age: Inquisition Game of the Year Edition off Origin for 20 bucks. It had all the DLC included which was nice.
I played the hell out of Origins, but couldn't get into DAII, and I've read mixed reviews on Inquisition but I'm about 5 hours into it and am enjoying it so far.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
I mostly bought a bunch of older games I've meant to test. BioShock, Alpha Protocol (supposedly a great spy game), Remember Me, The Stanley Parable. Also bought Banner Saga 2, although it wasn't much of a discount. But I quite liked Banner Saga 1, and it's one of those games which tries to do it's own thing which is easy to support.
Also bought Blood Bowl 2, which became the first game I've asked a refund on. Just too bloated and a bad UI as always. The refund was pretty easy and quick, very happy for that. It will certainly make it easier for me to try games I'm not sure about.
I'll probably also try This War of Mine and maybe Crusader Kings II. And Of Orcs and Men.
Got Just Cause 3 for 50% off, enjoyed it but my computer couldn't handle it, was like playing the game in slow motion. Got a steam refund, will purchase it again this fall when I build my new computer, or maybe get the PS4 version
