O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

I didn't think he was bad from what I saw. They have a surplus of D men to replace him? Even a 5-6 level guy at 1.65 isn't bad to have around. "Fleecing" is bit much.

I can't understand how edmonton was not all over this! What a joke! It's almost like they have an irrational fear of Defensemen.

Holden is just more of what they have though: A half a dozen Chris Butlers with different names. Why add another?

Holden may have averaged 20 minutes a night but those are not quality minutes. He is downright terrible.
