Makes a ton of sense. I guess some people just need to complain about something.
There were some decent RW scorers like Pu, Bitten, Abramov, Tuulola available. Definitely top 6 potential. So yes, I find it a bit frustrating .

Hawks made a good selection getting Wouter Peeters. Belarussian goalie that came out of nowhere this year to get noticed.

Carsen Twarynski to the Flyers. Philly love drafting Hitmen players.

just watched highlights on Fox...looks offensive and shoots right which is nice. Looks like a great first passer out of the zone and a good powerplay quarterback on the powerplay in the highlights.

Yeah, at 6'1 Parsons is undersized for a goalie. Talking heads on the NHL Network were suggesting if he was in that 6'4 range he'd be top ranked.

None of whom have any more potential than guys like Smith or even Pribyl. But keep convincing yourself you have a reason to be upset.

Can't believe someone is freaking out over the Flames not drafting RWers who won't even play for another 4 years.

Wingers are the least important position. They are complimentary to centres. If all else equal, you always take the best centre, defenceman or goalie.

There will be lots of RWers available in free agency for cheap and they will all play this year.

Tuulola is available still. Might be able to snag him at 96.

And we drafted players that were arguably better than all of those players based on our draft spots.

You're right though. Drafting positional is stupid.

BEL is Belgium. Belarus is BLR. Name also a clue.

Love to see players from nontraditional areas in hockey.

K, dammage, enough on the right wingers. It's getting really tiresome and it doesn't matter whatsoever.

Why did the slip to the 3rd round if they are so amazing?
