There are a ton of spots available. He can play 2 more years in the CHL and then there is 2-3 spots in the AHL and 2-3 spots in the ECHL as well. All 3 years from now

It's really not though. It's better to have the goalie in your system then to spend multiple assets trading for one

Or you take the goalie you like.... Plus you dont have to worry about signing him. Also Mason McDonald kind of looks like a bad pick at this point.
