I don't think they robbed them at all. I think 20+53 for 16 is a fairly bang on for value. Then the Coyotes shed a 4th liner due to make 1.3 million next year to take on a cap hit they won't pay a penny on. Vitale can easily be replaced by a player making less.

Arizona needed Datsyuk's contract about as much as Detroit needed to shed it.
