I bet Raymond or Stajan is thrown in there to give the Flames a bit of relief of Bob's contract this season.. gives Tree a bit more time to figure out the team's cap situation going forward.

Please let that happen! That would be a dream scenario really. Even if goalie Bob is a tad overpaid it kills two birds with one stone in getting a possible elite level forward and a bonafide (yet oft injured) goalie. Plus I love the fact that we're finally going to actually use the payroll advantage the Flames have over other teams. If we can get rid of a Wideman or Stajan it won't be too much trouble getting him in under the cap.
