When I found out they brought them back as thirds I had a lemieux jersey done up. Much nicer than the vintage replicas which fit all loose and ugly.
So beautiful.

That jersey makes me think of the FoxTrax puck.

Yeah that's a joke right? Gradients have no place on a hockey sweater.

Not a big fan of yellow as a main colour. It's fine as an accent colour though.
And I will never like logos that are of cartoon animals holding hockey sticks. Their logo always seemed "minor league" to me.

That one always strikes me as a very surprised Penguin doing a Nazi salute.
And now you cant unsee it.

This is actually the real "retro" jersey for the Pens. Where did all of these young whippersnappers come from.
"Hey! You horrible kids! Get outta my yard!"
Although this is the one that I personally remember.

What complaints? A handful of fans on CP that are stuck in the 80's? The current jerseys are fine, the 2004's were even better. Except for special game nights the retros are done people, get over it. Long live the black C!

You are so in the minority on this one.
71% prefer retro vs 5% prefer current jerseys.

Only jerseys I have ever owned are Flames.
I will make an exception for one of these.

That's a bad argument and you should feel bad for making it.

It is not an argument, it is an opinion on a Flames jersey. You are a Jets fan, nothing you say on the subject matters to anyone. I totally can understand some liking the retros more and that is fine. If the Flames went that way I would be fine with it, just not my preference. You have no place in the discussion though, go debate about Jet jerseys somewhere.

Flames retros are better than the current ones. That's my opinion and the fact you think it's not of importance is stupid. Further, my post was more with your stupid argument that people like 80's jerseys better purely for nostalgia. Some jerseys in the 80's and 90's are better because in the 2000's and on teams made some very bizarre uniform choices to try and be cutting edge and different.

Because they are the best jerseys the Flames have ever had and are truly representative of what the Calgary Flames should look like. And most people know that.
