News Summary Threads
In light of the latest failed attempt at a news-only thread, I wonder if there are any vBulletin plugins that could just autopost certain posts to a separate thread. That way, the plugin could pull out posts with the [news] tag from certain threads, and repost them to a stickied locked thread. It could also add a link to the original post.
I can see the value of a news-only thread, but the only way it will work if people are prevented from posting to it.
Just food for thought - I'm not a vBulletin developer, otherwise I'd offer to help.
