I'm not sure how you figure the equation works on that one...I can't carry the one enough times to make it work.

Mr. Coffee - economically, the UK leaving the El will create another barrier to trade. Markets want free flow of goods and resources. This is the opposite. Also, this is likely going to plunge the UK into recession as people worry about the future, which is going to drag down the entire world.

Man. Brexit. Nhl rumours and draft....

I took tomorrow off to go golfing at 9 am. Seems like it would have been a great day to be at my job where we don't have any work so I could keep up on the news...

Peoples ability to vote against their own best interests baffles me.

So I wonder if the UK itself will now fall apart. Scotland could leave, maybe Northern Ireland reunites with Ireland. Might just be England and Wales.

A big takeaway is how awful CNN and American politics is. Watching the BBC coverage is so refreshing. People talking intelligently, respectfully, and passionately all while debating someone on the other side. There is no screaming or yelling or repeating the same 3 word catch phrase ad nauseum.

Maybe it's because I follow UK/EU politics a lot less and the train wreck that is trump. But it's nice to hear some humanity in politics.

based on the latest YouGov polls this means turnout of 65+ was massive, they were the only group with leave far ahead

It's their CBC, it's not really a fair comparison. The equivalent is PBS news coverage in the US, which is quite reasonable.
