I'm still seeing Leave maintaining its lead or even increasing it slightly at 500k with 154/382 left to declare

I fear that 2016 will be remembered as the year the world took a very, very dark turn.

While the odds are stacked against it, I still think London could possibly turn this the other way. 65% of the areas are still unreported and the remain is getting nearly 70% support there so far. It'll come down to London vs. the South East and South West regions.

Edit: Actually looks like the leave side is gaining ground in London with more votes coming in.

I don't think the numbers are there for Remain unless we see a massive surge in London. Probably have to go up to 75-25 to have a chance.

Does Brexit really affect anything?

They aren't going to leave the common market and in order to remain in the common market they have to support the free movement of labour.

In the end i think this is more about uncertainty then any real affect.

So, now what? More EU exit referendums, global recession, massive gains for far-right nationalists around the globe - something like that?

The end result probably doesn't matter at this point as the downside panic is probably priced in.

Maybe more exit referendums but all economic ties remain. Far right parties garner less support because the problems are fixed by leaving the EU.
