Small guy, not Johnny small but small and skilled and was playing in the KHL so there was the Russian factor also.

Yo guys, some people on hf may have found a piece of the flames draft list maybe. Highly speculative so think critically
The flames channel on YouTube has been uploading draft countdown videos, the one you want is draft countdown day 8 - scouting process at 3:35 into the video. Looks like tkachuk at 4 (noooooooope do not want), Dubois at 8 (should be at 4 imo), nylander at 6 (meh, would rather have Keller), and brown at 13.
This is all from reading the blurred text, but the size of each blurred spot roughly corresponds to those names.
Going off of this (assuming its not a smokescreen) I find it highly likely the flames will pick a dman, because they probably have one ranked at 5 and I don't see mulletville or dim Jim going d.
As long as its not tkachuk ill be pretty happy

I saw that in the video. Outside of Nylander (Because of RW monkier) It's near impossible to pinpoint any of the names HF is trying to dig up. And to add a little more, there's good reason to believe that was their list on the 1st day of their amateur scout meetings and they hammered it our very differently by the end of the week. then again that could be the final look. But the way the raknings are sparsed out, not likely.

Hahah, I don't think those are fair interpretations. Maybe Brown at 13 since that one is quite short, the other 3 all look near identical in length.
Heck, what if those are the defence rankings?
4. Juolevi
8. Chychrun
6. Sergachyev
13. Bean

There's positions immediately to the right as well, kind of half cut out in your still. #6 is certainly RW. IIRC, the top two are LW and a C down below RW.

If one was to use "best guess" on that frame yeah you could go off the concesus media lists and say yeah #4 is Tkachuk because LW, Dubois #8 because LW. #6 Nylander because they sure as crap ain't slapping Laine or Puljujarvi at #6, but then again Gauthier could sneak in there.
The C is certainly Brown, or Mcleod given the size of the blur. But that's all subjective as I pointed out in my first response.

Im guessing 13 is probably Jost, the filter is hockey sense, which he excels in. Center, short name. Id say Jost at 13th.

This labour of love now complete for this draft class...
- Top 120
- 2 tables/spreadsheets
- 1 with profiler notes (on Top 100)
- 1 with stats, demographics, etc.
- Both in PDF format as well - to print and for mobile devices
Thoughts appreciated. Criticism welcomed (with explanation).
Have at it!

The Next Ones Online 2016 NHL Draft Guide also continues to be updated, featuring:
- exclusive rankings
- mock drafts (super in depth)
- Over 60 prospect profiles, in unique format (more to come in) - keep checking

Couple of updates I had to make this morning:
Lukas Carlsson should have been Lucas.
(with >800 names in a spreadsheet, brain freezes are bound to happen)
***
Top 120 updated.
- Admitted copy and paste fail that somehow got past final edit as I duplicated Brayden Burke at both 108th & 109th.
- now updated. Cory's son Riley Stillman got overridden, but now back in the fold.
*As a bonus, for my faux pas, I've now included Prospect Profiler Notes on the final top 20 prospects of the Top 120.

After watching those clips that FDW put up, Nylander is my guy now. Jost second.

I honestly think Nylander is the 4th best prospect in this draft.

How could anyone not want Tkachuk? Watching his highlights blew me away. He's so solid down low and just attacks the front of the net with authority. I don't want him anywhere near the Oilers. That guy is going to be a winner. For the love of God I hope they trade that pick or take a d man.

Tkachuk and Bennett on the same line would destroy teams in the playoffs when they're in their prime. McDavid and Tkachuk- BARF

Man... Interesting for us to see but whoever in the flames video dpt thought it was ok to air even a blurred version of their draft list the week of the draft... Feel bad for them, at least in my job that would not end well for our communications people.
