Dreger: Those close to Gulutzan say, at least as early as this morning, he hadn't been officially offered the contract/position.#Flames 1290

Wouldn't be the first time CTV tried to break a story. Their info is about 2 days older than what we get here.
Cannot recall the specifics but when Dowbiggin was with CTV there was a flames scoop that fell flat. Cannot recall if it was the GM hiring or the Coaching hiring when it was Hartley. Could have been a signing that fell through too.

Awful.
Treliving on Hartley's departure he took the team as far as he could. So Gulutzan and his horrible 64-57-9 2 years missing the playoffs in Dallas is Treliving answer to Hartley. What a joke.
Now we move to Vancouver who most of us believe is "no good". Well Gulutzan has been a big part of this "no good" team.
Screw this hiring if the news is true.
For those that think Treliving can do no wrong. Well this is far from being the best HC. Nope this is "no good".

Or, if true, we could wait until he actually coached even a game or two before we passed judgement?

Why is it so bad? I honestly want to know because you seem so sure about it.
It can't be just his two years head coaching record, or his years as asst in Vancouver. There has to be more to it since you're so sure of yourself.
I want specifics from you about his coaching style, his ability to relate to players, what kind of system he employs, how he plans to utilize certain players, etc, etc.
I mean, for you to whine so excessively about it you must have more to back up your opinion than merely what you've posted here, because if that's all you've got then you mine as well just shut up, because you have got nothing.
