6s is nearly waterproof it just isn't advertised.
Wireless charging would be nice but not needed since I only plug phone in at night anyways.

I have never understood why people want a back button so badly. When I was using it I never knew what I had to push of back button or home button on the android and drove me crazy.

Again I only used it for a month and have used iPhones since iPhone 4 and I also have 4 apple tvs which play so nice with my phone. I compare it as if you want your phone to just work as it should go with Apple. If you want to tweak and customize your experience and want to tinker with everything constantly go with the android. If I were to do android again I would go htc as the Samsung plastic feeling wasn't for me.
I don't get the "it just works" thing anymore. It just works because you own all apple stuff? My chromecasts work with android and apple, as well as my PC and macbook. The apple ecosystem is limited to apple products.

I find the experience on stock android amazing without having to tinker with anything. I have never used a Samsung phone, but a Nexus phone is every bit as easy as picking up an iPhone.

And the back and home button issue is pretty simple I thought. It's nice to have a consistent button to return to your previous screen without having it move around depending on the app, or have it in the top left of your screen where your thumb can't easily reach it.

Can't disagree about the build quality and materials of the iPhone, but it's a compromise I'm willing to make to pay half the price of an iPhone.

I think easy is different for each person. My parents both had android because of the price but when I upgraded I gave them both our old iphones and they have felt they are easier to use and understand. Again I'm not hating, I like android and like the Samsung line it's just difficult to say one is easier or better because it's completely in the hands on the individual.

The simply Q & A is, do you use back button on PC browser. If you don't, you probably won't on a phone either.
To me, no back button is counter intuitive and just dumb. Obviously others don't agree.

I recently switched back to Android(note 4). I just really hated the no expandable memory, iTunes for me was just a pain in the butt. The ability to just drag and drop files from PC to phone is just great. Even with it jailbroken I didn't feel there was enough freedom to do what you wanted to do. Apple is great tech but just a nuisance to use at times. Could be because I use a PC and not a Mac, Mac is probably more seamless.

But my browser on the iPhone has a back button? I still don't understand why there is a need for physical button

I have never felt the need for a back button either but I can see how someone could grow accustomed to it.

My daughter would love if this happened. She's probably about the only one in her social circle, on her sports teams etc. that does not have an iPhone and subsequently is left out of all the group chats.

Personally, iPhones suck for business use. They cause me nothing but grief with the way they handle (or don't handle as it were) attachments and I know plenty of people who hate them for messaging. Trouble is our Sales guys love them and IT is reluctant to switch to android. Not sure what I will do when my BB dies as the alternative is undesirable for me (Apple).

Looks like the rumors were false. No iMessage on non-Apple platforms.

How about the Nexus 5X and 6P? I've read that the Nexus line of phones are the only ones that get OS and security updates reliably. Is that the case?

Nexus 6P is an absolutely fantastic phone, except for the lack of wireless charging. That feature is fantastic and might drive me back to Samsung if the next Nexus doesn't have it

Thinking of getting the Nexus 6P when my contract runs out this upcoming fall. Any news if the Nexus plans on releasing its 7th generation any time soon? Might just wait for that to come out instead. Looking to switch to Android after seeing the rumours of what is being done with the iPhone, and none of the new features really intrigue me.

Picked up the 6P on the weekend, what a phone. Was never in love with my Nexus 6, just didn't like it as much as the Nexus 5.. but the 6P is a dream. Beautiful design, slightly longer and not as wide so very comfortable to use with one hand. The fingerprint scanner on the back is intuitive to use and lightning fast. The metal builds looks and feels premium.

The quick charging is speedy and the battery life is great. Obviously it's early in my ownership so battery life tends to fade but so far so good. No wireless charging however. I never used my wireless charger all that much but it was a nice feature to have.

USB Type C is fantastic but switching out all the chargers, cords etc has been a pain, and they're not the most common cable out there yet. So slight caveat there.

Agreed on Nexus 6p. I switched to it from a Oneplus 2. Even though that was a great phone, it's still like night and day. The AMOLED screen, stock android and no bloatware, fast charging...all worth it.

The specs are almost the exact same yet the 6p feels much smoother and faster.

I charge my 6P overnight and that's it so wireless charging is no big deal. Quick charge is awesome as well.

Great phone and a great camera as well. I am a big fan of the Nexus line and will probably stick with it for years to come.

I have my Nexus 5 running the latest 6.01 with a few easy hacks. They are community supported for years which I think is a bonus for hand me down phones and backups. Should also add that with OTG support and how small USB sticks are now expandable storage is pretty easy. I have slowly moved to the cloud and really only use about 20GB of storage on my phone so no need for added storage.
