Just had this gem pop up in my Facebook feed... I can't believe there are people who actually think this way. Off to 'I don't want to live on this planet...'

We don't blame the gun, morons. We blame the culture that worships the gun.

Well by that logic we did blame the weapon: boxcutters, liquids, etc.

And modified the s*** out of the "weapon" after 9/11. We fortified the flight deck doors, added flight marshals. And... Oh my - restricted access to the aircraft, including heightened security measures and a no flight list. Made flying not a right, but a privilege.
Wonder if we can do this for guns

And look at Oklahoma City Bombing.
Post that attack sales of the precursors to explosives are now closely tracked and in some cases restricted.
Restricting the tools of terrorists has always been one of the primary items in the terrorism prevention play book.
Trevor Noah had a great bit on it last night on the daily show.

Allegations of mental illness, closeted homosexuality, and great rage against many different types of people point to this case not being about religion at all.
I would expect some people to take back the callous things that they said but I know they won't.

You don't think his inability to express his sexuality to due the constraints of his religion might have led to the mental illness causing this?

It has everything to do with religion. You may be too religious to see that. Why do you think he hates gay people? His dad has been telling him god hates gay people his whole life. The culture he grew up in including religion created this mess.
