I'm there for the semi-final but at least we're only 2 train stops away in town so it shouldn't be terrible if we have to walk.

In a strongly-worded statement, European football's governing body said it would not hesitate to impose sanctions on either Russia or England should such violence occur again.

Measures included the potential disqualification of their respective teams from the tournament, it said.

Mostly a reference to the fact that England is the one country that has been banned for this specific reason before, so it was not so much a comment on which countries should be banned.

Although I think mentioning Germans and French is a bit ridiculous. There are troublemakers in every country, but it's obvious some countries stand out in a bad way, and England is still the #1 exporter of football hooligans.

Russia, Serbia and Croatia are the serious competitors that I can think of right now.

(EDIT: And I think Serbians and Croatians have mostly caused trouble fighting with other former Yugoslavians.)

Germany pretty recently organized their own World Cup, which went just fine.

Spain having a love affair with the ball. It always seems like Spain play with 12 men.

Cech has been brilliant so still 0-0

Incredible: (via @StatsZone)

HT #ESP 0-0 #CZE Completed passes: 340v91. Spain 74% possession

Spoiler!

And (Via @ESPNStatsInfo)

HALF: #ESP 0, #CZE 0

Spain's 357 pass completions in 1st half are more than 7 teams had in their entire matches on Matchdays 1-3 #EURO2016

It would be a pretty great accomplishment for the Czechs to get a draw here. Spain dominating the ball at an absurd level right now but not getting the goal.

Ireland looks good so far - lots of energy and always working hard.

Would not be shocked at all if they surprise in this group.
