Started with a couple bogies, then played great. The ace on 13 didn't hurt either! She tweeted a pic of the car she won - gave it to her caddie/older sister for great yardage call.
She seems like such a great individual, and is truly a fantastic golfer. She will rule the women's golf world soon - maybe does already.

Brooke is has moved up from T-3 to T-2 and is 2 under for the day.
The problem is that the leader, Ko from NZ, is -3 on the day and has stretched her lead to 3 shots over a large group in 2nd.
Brooke needs to light it up on the back nine and post a good score in the clubhouse. Ko is a few groups behind her so it might put some added pressure. Ko is a proven winner though, so might need more help.

283 driving distance has to be near the top for the day.

It was about a 35 footer....now she caught a break on her tee shot on 18 when it went right but stopped between 2 trees that frames a perfect shot to the green.
Golf channel has it live.

Hell of a scramble save on 18 for Brooke to give herself a chance....Ko has a birdie chance on 17 with a birdieable 18 ahead.

Brooke scrambles up 18, driveway in trees, out to the fairway, hits her 3rd to 10 feet and saves par.
Ko is in close for birdie a couple shots back.
But Brooke did what she needed to do. Low round of the day and in the clubhouse. Pressure on Ko and the Thai player who has put a heck of a back nine together as well. (not as good as Brooke's but tied for 2nd lowest of the day).
