Yeah the Kings Landing better shape up or ship out pretty quick. It's getting a bit boring for me. Loving almost all the other story lines though. Actually Dany's could pick it up a bit. It's been what... 5 years now for the viewer waiting for her to get her ass across the sea? Holy #### that is patience from the viewers.

Different clothes, different mannerism, different attitude, almost flaunting a come get me flag. I think that was a test of the waif rather than of Arya. Would the waif show mercy. She failed.
Could be, but I always thought the faceless disguise themselves with the faces of people who have died.

So can someone give a little more back story to the character McShane played, and what that was all about? Or is it just random?
Since this is the TV show thread there's not much I can say. What you saw on TV is what you get. So he was a former bad man who now builds stuff with other recover projects. He was like an anti high sparrow it seems. He dressed simply and seemed pious/devout and wore a 7 pointed start medallion around his neck but he also wasn't super crazy like the high sparrow and militant about religion and god(s).

I guess it was harder to understand since he lived barely an episode.
I take it the 3 riders where from the Brotherhood?
I saw a theory that could fit the Arya story line pretty well. The waif is a construct of Arya's mind (like Tyler Durden in Fight club). If "Arya" is killed, the girl becomes no one and is now a Faceless Man.
I believe the Hound recognized them from the brotherhood when he was there.
That line McShane gives him "the gods arent' done with you yet" is the same thing dondarion or thoros said to the Hound when they let him leave the brotherhood (after cleaving Dondarion in half), except McShane says "The gods aren't done with you yet" and the brotherhood said "The lord of light isn't finished with you yet."
