God job by Sullivan and crew to recognize it and the players for buying in. Sid has been really good too.

Don Cherry was all over the system Sullivan has Pittsburgh playing.
"They aren't even covering the points!"
You're right, it's working well for them.

Thoughts and prayers to Pepsi Free and the "True Flames Fans" who logic dictates must cheer for the Sharks.
Pens look to be on another level.

I'm a Flames fan bro, there were no jets when I picked this username.
Hopefully watching the Sharks lose isn't too difficult for you though. A lot of butt hurt going around in the last few pages which is really odd.

I don't mind the Pens as a team. I just don't think that fan base deserves any success via them since they're horribly fairweather.
I'd much rather see a legit fanbase get a win.

Well I was right about you being pompous, "bro". I really don't see why Sharks haters continuously think it's odd people are cheering for the Sharks, I don't find it odd that you Sharks haters are cheering for the Penguins.
I'm leaning towards the Sharks but it really wouldn't be beat up in the slightest if Pittsburgh won. I watched every single Penguins playoff game this year, so no, it isn't difficult for me at all
I'm sorry you're so aggressive, being a Jets fan would do that to anyone

I wanted the Sharks to win but this is hardly surprising. Crazy to think of where Crosby and the Pens were in December to where they are now.

If you had looked for any context before throwing a bit of a hissy fit, you'd know I've gone on record as saying the only reason I don't care to see the Sharks win is because they're a divisional rival.
I was laughably told by another poster that is illogical and that "True Flames Fans" cheer for the Sharks. I was making light of that.
The fact it grated on your overly sensitive nerves and that you actually think there are "Shark Haters" out to make you fell bad is really telling. (Shark Hater? Really?)
I didn't realize a Stanley Cup final the Flames aren't involved in is such a touchy subject for some. Hopefully it's over next game to spare you having this difficult time drawn out.

No. The reason SJ doesn't have any answers is because they are a fairly average team. They over-achieved this year to escape the bubble, but they will be right there next year fighting tooth and nail just to land in a wild card spot.
The Sharks suck.

Very disappointed in the Sharks. They looked so good defeating three quality hockey games and look like Cinderella in the finals.

The most surprising thing in the finals imo has been the tight defensive play of the Pens. The amount of shots they block and they way they've shut down play in the slot in front of their net has made Murray's life a lot easier.
That stifling defensive play (often having the Sharks go 5+ mins without an official shot or quality scoring chance) coupled with Murray's play has put the Pens in the driver's seat.
All the more remarkable has been the way they are doing it to what (up to this point) was the best offensive team in the playoffs. The Sharks offense was stellar up until the final and the Pens have just shut them right down.
