Don Matthews missed the Montreal Alouettes practice today while the team has called a "major" news conference that will reportedly centre on the head coach's health.

A report on Radio-Canada said the team would "reveal certain details related to the health" of the CFL's winningest coach. The news conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. ET at Olympic Stadium.
