Actually, I like them. Could they be better? Yeah. But they're not objectionable in any way for me.

I don't mind their regulars but hate their Walmart special thirds.

The good: they're Flames jerseys.

The bad: piping (especially on the white sweaters), the name/number font (looks REALLY goofy in 2016), the shoulder patches (country and provincial flags have always struck me as equal parts lazy and patronizing)

Keep the shoulder patches, yoke, and numbers of the third and give them our regular crest. That's your next Flames jersey. Take my money. I've accepted we won't be getting any of the superb designs in the other thread.

They're not that old but feel really dated to me. Loved the retro 3rd, hate the current 3rd. Would love a complete overhaul, something fresh

- Lose the piping (obvious)

- Lose the shoulder flags & replace with current 3rd shoulder patch

- New jerseys don't have to be full retro, but should have at least a retro feel

- Keep the black C (probably in the minority here)

- New number and name plate font

- keep the neck draw strings (also probably in the minority here)

It's the same shade of red. Reebok narrowed the colour palette in 2007. All teams that use red use the same shade on their uniforms. Any perceived colour difference comes down to the way that other colours on the jersey interact with it visually and arena lighting.

Voted 'barely top half'.

Don't mind the regulars but really dislike the 3rd. Like many I am reminded of Walmart pajamas every time I see them.

If the straightened the shoulders on the third, replace the font with the regular one and slap a black C on it, it would be great.

Honestly I love them. Yeah, the piping sucks and the flags look weird. But I love the color scheme in general.

But yes, the retros will always be superior. I say make the retros our primaries and the current set our thirds.

That's not quite true, Washington, Minnesota, a couple other teams use a pinker shade of red.

Was going to vote worst, but then I remembered Colorado, Anaheim and Ottawa.... They're right down there with those teams jerseys. Just aweful aweful designs.

I wouldn't mind a black jersey with red/yellow/white striping and the white retro C with yellow piping maybe as a 3rd jersey.

We have one of the best logos, one of the best colour schemes, one of the best retros and we have had great jerseys in the past (horsehead excepted). The current jersey, however, sucks. Way too busy. Piping is awful. Not a fan of black in the Flames uniform. The exception was the 2004-era V jersey which toned down the black and pulled it off nicely.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. All the teams that use "red" all use the same shade of red. "Iron range red" (Minnesota Wild) is a different shade. All of the teams with "red" use the same fabric for their jerseys. Washington Capitals, Calgary Flames, Florida Panthers, New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, Columbus Blue Jackets, Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators and Detroit Red Wings all use the same jersey fabric colour; red. For additional clarity, the Arizona Coyotes use the third shade in the red region namely "Brick Red." The Colorado Avalanche use the final shade with "Burgundy".

I think you might like what the Stockton Heat did.

The Home and Away feature a great logo surrounded by an ugly jersey. The 3rd greatly improves on the jersey but uses an ugly logo.

The fix is pretty simple; remove all black from the jersey.
