At first blush I really like them. I particularly like the alternating Panthers/Florida crest on the Home/Road jerseys. It's one of those things I just like seeing on sports uniforms is alternating naming/crest when they hit the road.
It's a minor point but I'm not sure about the gold accent on the horizontal bands, feels a bit thick for my taste, but I'm not a big fan of gold accents on a jersey anyways.
Overall I think they're pretty solid.

The red on the Flames retro and regular are identical.
But they sure don't look it when on the ice.

Not just your screen, looks that way to me too (but they're the same... I looked at pics of the old jersey side by side with the new) the contrasting colors (black on old jersey, white on the new) must do something to fool our brains. I think they're really nice... I wish the primary color was a tad different shade. The design is top notch and I think the new logo is fantastic.
If I was a panthers fan I'd have no problem plunking down $$ for one of these.

Not great but not bad. Something is slightly off. Tough to tell from heavily edited photos and pictures of TV screens. Will probably look better on the ice.

It's a good thing Florida's state flag isn't blue and sticks out like a sore thumb.

Way better, especially the logo. The old Panthers logo was a 90's relic, probably a bottom 5 logo in the NHL. This actually looks like a dignified professional sports team.

Another team with new jerseys?
Ken King please read
I like the new FLA jersey:
Shield is different and done well
MTL style stripes in the middle
Football style numbers to cater to their fanbase?
State flag logo also a nice touch - done way better than the Flames!

This post is terrible.
We have the worst jerseys in the league. Doesn't mean he doesn't like the team

I love the Flames, I'm not going to change teams because they have terrible jerseys. Christ.

I saw these pictures at Deadspin and came to a startling realization:
These are the best jerseys in the NHL.
They're phenomenal design. Clean and distinct without being busy, the colours are symbolically meaningful, the logo is quite clearly a hockey logo without being another roundel, yet they've found a way to include the team name at home/city name on the road that other sports do so well. No stupid Edge-jersey diaper-stripe because teams have failed to realize the actual cut of the jersey has changed (looking at you, Chicago, Detroit, and Dallas).
Unique elements: numbers on shoulders, military-style captain and alternate bars instead of "C" or "A" on the front, the 'earning' of the Panthers/Florida bar when you make the team. The number and nameplate typface is unique, but simple and classic.
Yep, there isn't really any getting away from it: this is the best home/away combo in the league now.

I like the new look. Maybe it's just me but the Panther looks more like a cougar but that is only because the panthers found in Florida are a Puma which is basically a cougar lol. Still look slick though, big improvement especially like the shoulder patch.

The Florida Panther is another name for a cougar/puma
from wiki
This subspecies of cougar is sometimes referred to as cougar, mountain lion, puma, and catamount; but in the southeastern United States and particularly Florida, it is exclusively known as the panther, with respect to its distinction from different cougar subspecies found in other regions of the United States. Florida panthers are usually found in pinelands, hardwood hammocks, and mix swamp forests.

That pretty much supported what I said. A Florida Panther is a species of a cougar more known in FLA as a Puma.
