Maybe I'm just underestimating the "average fan" then. I too agree that the moves with Paredes was quite minor, and getting something for nothing is a good thing. I guess I just think it would be easy for a fan to get angry at new management for trading away a player for cash.

Wow. Nice start by Sanchez.
Masahiro Tanaka does not look 27 years old, he looks like he's in his early 40s.

Wow. Big strikeout.
Would like to see Sanchez get a little more economical with his pitches. Already at 50 pitches through 3 innings.

Say the Jays end up in the one game wildcard game.
Who do the Jays put on the mound?
I am leaning towards Marco Estrada.

I mean, I guess they turned nothing into something, but trading for cash just makes them look cheap (to the average fan I'd think).

Needed a couple extra dollars for Grilli that Rogers was likely unwilling to give them.

Not that I care about a minor move like Paredes, but you know after my comments about the way the Jays are run are proven right time and time again by the actions of this team's management, you may just want to accept that there might be an element of truth to what it is i'm saying.

It's becoming more and more clear to me that the Jays simply do not need Tulo. Think anyone would be willing to take on that contract? Doubt it, but sure would be nice to unload it.

I'm 99% sure you also complained about Biagini and Floyd signings...Happ as well IIRC. So, there's that too.

Never said anything about Biagini. Never even knew who he was until he hit the mound in the regular season. I'm sure I said something about the Jays dumpster diving though, but that wasn't related to Biagini.
You should really go back and look about what I said about Floyd. I said he was a great pickup and having a great spring training. I actually wanted to give him the #5 spot and send Sanchez to the minors for some seasoning. Glad that didn't happen though.
Talking about Happ really makes you look like foolish. I've been a huge Happ fan since day 1, said it was good pickup, and was pissed off when they gave him up to acquire Saunders in the first place. I wasn't happy all they did was sign Happ because I wanted an ace to replace Price, but I was definitely happy with the Happ signing.
So i'm 100% you don't have a clue what you are talking about, and are just talking straight out of your ass because you don't like my message. If you want, go take a look at my posts in November and December last year of just exactly what the Jays would do this off season. I know it won't make you happy, but it was pretty bang on (Stay the course for one more run with the team they have before they unload salary in 2017, pick up the below market Dickey option, not resign Price, and sign a middle of the road starter as a stop gap to a short term deal).

I disagree completely, yeah he stunk to start the season, but before his injury h was part of the reason the jays were turning things around.
.286 average with a .875 OPS over the last 15 games.
I'd rather have a perennial all star like tulo and hope he comes out of his funk then a career utility guy batting over his head any day.

Yeah me too, but this team is on a budget constraint so if you spend 20M on a guy he needs to be a regular contributor. You can parade Goins/Barney/Travis out there and there's very little drop off. People remember Tulo of 4-5 years ago, he's been on a steady decline for the past 3 years and has always had injury issues.
