I would love to see Suicide live. FYI don't Google that without adding "band".

I like Nickleback TBH. One of the better concerts I have seen live when they played red deer about 10 years ago.

I tend to think Red Deer was less D-baggery full when I grew up there. It just doesn't feel the same anymore when I go back.

They're not my cup of tea, but Nickelback is a solid live act. I remember seeing their Olympic performance and thinking "dang, Nickelback kicks ass live", i place a lot of stock in a bands live show and in my mind, their performance upgraded Nickelback from "awful" to "not my cup of tea".

I'm more more excited about Blue Rodeo, Corb Lund and the Rankin Family.

Any idea if it will be televised? I know the "Flood Aid" concert was.

I remember seeing them open for Everclear at Max Bell. They won the vote that CJAY ran.

It was, but Nickelback demanded the show end before their set. I'm assuming it'll be the same here.

One love music fest tickets are on sale now. No announcement on line-up yet though.
