Yeah, I really can't wait as I love to take pictures but never got the camera, and i'll actually be taught how to use it properly!.

Well i was like you.  I always loved to take pictures but was always a point and shoot kind of guy.  I bought a Nikon D50 a month ago and have been playing with it ever since.  SO MUCH stuff to learn it is unreal!

I took a photography course last year and it was a total blast. My photos have improved a lot since and I enjoy it a lot more. 
 
However, my camera sucks balls and I need to step up and get something decent to truly get into it. 
 
I am constantly impressed by the photos posted on here though.

Good stuff! As long as I don't take it on adventures that result in broken cameras like the one my last pictures were taken with   .
 
I got some nasty gravel embedded into my skin and bunged my legs up.. but at least I got it    
I'm so embarrased.
