I don't this whole Trump would swing to the center once he won the nomination, he was already there. Compared to guys like Cruz, Kasich and Rubio, Trump is positively a democrat. Part of the reason the establishment hates Trump is they don't see him as a true Republican.
Does he espouse xenophobic racist policy? Yup but on a lot of issues Trump is no where near a far right candidate.
If anything Trump is just a populist, he'll say whatever he needs to to whomever if he thinks it will increase his popularity.
The vice presidential pick will also be part of the process of proving he’s ready for the White House, Manafort said.
“He needs an experienced person to do the part of the job he doesn’t want to do. He seems himself more as the chairman of the board, than even the CEO, let alone the COO.”
Given Trump's history, I don't think he likes having something as much as getting that thing. So he wants to win the presidency, but not be president.

Hillary is as corrupt and crooked as they come. She represents everything that is wrong with Washington and politics in general. She has lied, cheated and stole her way to where she is now. Trump is not part of that establishment, nor is he coming across as either crooked or corrupt.
Is this actually a true statement relative to typical politicians. Or has this phrase been repeated so many times people believe it to be true.
For example the whole email security breaches means she's a criminal his partisan nonsense. I wasn't old enough to get into the details of whitewater or her rise to power so I'm interested in a non politicized answer.

The report released on her email security said that she breached the law and regulations that the US government has set forth regarding those kinds of things. On top of that, she magically 'lost' a bunch of emails, and didn't submit the ones she should have, and through it all she lied about it. It has gone from partisan nonsense to a very real problem. Her claim that all the SoS did the same thing is a complete lie. Emails were recovered where she was told it was a problem and she replied back it didn't matter. The fact that a sitting Secretary of State could be so massively incompetent is mind boggling. And this is the person people want as President?
If you go track back who the contributors are to the Clinton Foundation over the years its easy to see why she is crooked and controlled by big money. She comes out against the oil industry, Wall Street, military complex and the prison industry saying she'll regulate all 4, but how can you regulate an industry if they are paying for your campaign? She is bought and paid for by big money and special interests.
Trump is right in calling her crooked Hillary. He is a joke as well, but the reason he is getting away with all the stupid crap he says is because people are completely fed up with politicians like Hillary. And rightly so.
All Trump needed to do was NOT be a politician and you could see why he would be so popular.

If you want to call improper storage of emails criminal I think you need to wait until she is charged and convicted of an offense before you call her that. Because I think even with the last report there a lot of room to debate what exactly she did and if it was criminal.
I agree with the bulk of your second point on how she will be no different than any politician on the Wall Street front. But I don't see that as any different then any other politician. All major companies fund both sides to buy influence.

Levin: Hillary didn’t break email rules, she broke federal law
Quote:
Indeed, from her time as First Lady int he 1990’s to her term as a US Senator from New York and finally her stint as Secretary of State, Clinton has been fully aware of federal record keeping laws. In fact, Washington Free Beacon reported last year that Clinton signed an NDA at the start of her time at the State Department acknowledging the very laws she is now clearly in violation of.
For those of you keeping score at home, the Federal Records Act lays it out pretty clearly: (18 U.S. Code § 2071)
Quote:
(a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
(b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.
Quote:
That is the federal law in question. It covers all federal agencies. Each individual agency (The Department of State, in this case) then implements rules and policies for all employees so that their operations are in accordance with the law. The rules have een violated, therefore the law was broken.
If you haven't watched Bill Maher yesterday you should. Bernie was on and you got a lot of insight on the success of Drumph and his campaign. His use of words and persuasion power. Some here fall right into it.

Once the accusations are out there people will always wonder regardless of weather it's proven. She's damaged goods and i'm sure Trump will use that to his advantage.

This is why Trump will win in a landslide.
And God help us all then.

I think the report released indicates enough that what she did was grossly incompetent, but like you said, perhaps not criminal.
As for the second point, I agree that all politicians are funded by big money and special interests. All except for Trump and Sanders. Which is why people are voting for them.

You seem unaware that Trump is fundraising, on top of that he 'lent' his own campaign his money which, now that he's out there cap in hand to the corporations and other big money donators, he will pay back to himself.
Not only is Trump exactly the same as Clinton, but he's lied about it, telling idiots he's paying for his own campaign when this was always bollocks.
