Are there usually good bargains there, or is the good stuff gone already?

Depends if you camp out all night and what you're looking for. You can always find some deals later in the day, but it gets picked over early.

List of stuff they had on sale last year to give you an idea:

Some of the equipment is actually game worn by players.

Pretty much anything, skates, jerseys, goalie equipment. The toughest part is finding a particular player if your a collector or a particular size if you're a player.

I will let you know that prices are ridiculous and pretty close to retail anymore. It used to be us campers got there to get good deals on equipment we were going to use. Now it's jacked up... gloves are close to $150 bucks, sticks are close to the same. There are some good deals on skates but you have to try them on there and don't get much time to think about it.

Yep. Last couple years it has really gone downhill. I'll still have a pair of TJ Brodie skates that's I've worn at least twice a week for the last 2 years and a pair of Jaybo gloves that pretty much have no palms left...
I've gone every year since but unfortunately the deals aren't as good as they once were. The apparel deals and general Fan Attic deals are still pretty decent though

The Flames are trying to market the equipment as "collectables" now, and you can't really get any great deals anymore. If you want to get Flames clothing and such, it may be a good idea to go there. But I don't think camping outside overnight will be necessary.

Its not used or the official bag but it looks pretty good imo. Price is pretty steep though.

It's actually not terrible for a bag like that with Flames' branding. The last hockey bag I bought was $100 for a pretty decent one.

Damn, I'd grab one of those Thirds for $70 if I wasn't on the other side of the Atlantic.
