The good news for Genie at least with the weather is she's first up on Chatrier so she'll at least not be too out of order if she wins.

So Pouille was the lucky loser in Rome and made it all the way to the semifinals in order to be seeded here. Of course he loses to a lucky loser! Andrej Martin the lucky loser is Milos' next opponent.

Genie is out, falling 6-4, 6-4 to Bacsinszky. However, she was down 0-5 in the second and nearly clawed her way back.

Too bad about Genie, but great fight to pull herself back like that

I'm up. Milos leads in the third set, but has stopped and called a trainer. Hope everything's okay.

Looks like all is okay with Milos, as he wins in straight sets 7-6(4) 6-2 6-3 and is off to the Round of 16.

Jack Sock loses to Ramos-Vinolas

Raonic's draw gets easier and easier.

For one round, at least. He's looking at Wawrinka in the quarters, then Murray (who finally had an easy match) in the semis.

Wawrinka is in terrible form right now. I think he struggles against Chardy later.

Nadal forced to retire from the French Open with a wrist injury. That sucks.

Speaking of bad form Nishikori is about to go to a fifth set after being up two sets to none. Would certainly make Andy's life easier to see him go out.

All but Novak's now. Would be remarkable if anyone else won it now.

Since you've been on about the lucky losers now, how about Granollers run of luck? LL into the draw in Monte Carlo and Madrid, won here in the 2nd round with a retirement, now gets a walkover into the 4th round because Nadal is out.

Well, this is interesting:

‏@FAN590
John McEnroe has announced he will coach Milos Raonic at Wimbledon.

I remember McEnroe was trying to get himself to maybe coach Kyrgios earlier this year. Should be a fascinating pairing given Milos calm nature, and McEnroe infamously being the exact opposite on the court.
