Ouch that really sucks.
I was wondering if that might happen when I was pricing stuff out on the All Nippon Airways site yesterday and not getting anywhere near the super cheap rates.
Hopefully it's just a handful of tickets that were cancelled at the very bottom of the price drop, and not everyone who booked this week when it was under $700-$800 a person.

If I literally hadn't just returned from a UK trip a week ago, I probably would have. Though with the potential for cancellations happening, perhaps better that I hadn't.

Crazy. I was about to book a flight yesterday, but it had already gone up by then. I was kicking myself all day today...
It's in the 800s at the moment, which doesnt seem that bad either. Is that still a fairly good deal, or do people think it will drop a bit again (even if not to crazy glitchy levels)?

I purchased off the ANA website YYC-YVR-HND for $680 CAD all in a few days ago - price has more than doubled now for the dates I had picked - still some good fares out there - I would think any fare bought directly from ANA would be honored

I've been going pretty frequently over the past 8 years. Anything under $1000 is pretty decent. Anything under $900 is excellent. I'm going in the fall, and that ticket cost me around $900. Usually I pay around $1100. All these ticket prices are with AC.

Apparently the airfare was a mistake, it was a loading error. I found it very odd that the fare ex YYC was cheaper than the fare ex YVR. So hence why it was pulled. Anyone lucky enough to have booked the $557 when they had the chance got the deal of the century.

This isn't the deal of the century. A few years ago cmyden had YYC-NRT for $2xx.

Didn't see that post, I only saw the same $557 on cmyden's thread which is the same fare being discussed in this thread.

No no. The deal of the century was the $97 trip to Spain a few years ago that Chris posted and many CPers took advantage of.

Also, if you don't think that $557 roundtrip incl tax to fly YYC-HND isn't the 'deal of the century', then you've been drinking too much sake...

And I used to brag about paying $3 to fly to Vancouver. Jeebus.

Damn, that sucks that they are getting cancelled now. I was about to book for 4 to go too, but the "error" was over by then.

24 hours in vegas with hotel for 32 bucks was a pretty solid one as well. I wish these deals would come back!
