Just happy Tampa is out. I'm pretty neutral on both these teams so this will be a fun series to watch. Sharks in 6.

WTF is with all the 3 day spans? As if it isn't already ridiculous that we wait until June for the Stanley Cup, let's just stretch it out an extra few days? So Annoying.

As for the hockey...SJ has played better than anyone else this playoffs and their size will wear Pittsburgh down eventually.
Pens win game 1 and 5.....SJ in 6.

I think it's great. Both likeable teams, play a fast offensive style. Crosby back in the finals with a stud rookie goalie. Thornton and Marleau get a crack at their first Cup. San Jose's first finals in their history.
Storylines everywhere and two really good teams that play exciting hockey. Should be fantastic.

Only 5 of the current Penguins team were around when they last won it in 2009. Crosby, Malkin, Fluery, Letang and Kunitz. Going to be a lot of first time winners of this trophy, no matter who lifts it in a few weeks time.
In fact, would I be right in saying that in this series, there will only be 6 past winners of the cup? The above 5 and Martin Jones?

Bruins first rounder in 1997 vs Bruins first rounder in 2006.
Hopefully it's good luck to have a former Bruins first rounder on your roster because the Flames have 2 (Hamilton and Colborne).

I'm not pulling for either team but it should be a great final. Crosby vs Thornton and Murray vs Jones are both great matchups.
Put me in the group that doesn't get the schedule though. It gets harder and harder to get excited about hockey this time of year. Spreading the final out over 2.5 weeks doesn't help.

Matt Cullen won when the Canes beat the Oilers. A glorious day.

Cheers. Its why I threw it out tentatively, I knew there would be a player or two than won it with some random team. Makes sense that its the 103 year old Matt Cullen.

Yeah, I thought there'd be more, unless I missed someone. Lots of first time winners this year, which is great.

Of all the teams in the playoffs, the two that I did not want to win the most were Anaheim and Pittsburgh.
I was thrilled when the Ducks blew it in the first round.
Go Sharks.
