And the Joel Ward signing is paying off huge dividends for the Sharks. What a vet.

What a play by Ward to keep that puck in and then gets rewarded!

Well, the Sharks aren't shortening the bench. Not by a single man. Pete DeBoer sending a message to his guys.

He's been fun to watch this playoffs, eh!?

Wonder if he's thinking about the big FU to the Caps.

I'm cheering for the Sharks, but at this time of year, I find myself cheering more for a game seven than for the team I'm going for to win in six.

So hopefully just typing out this random thought will have the hockey gods frown at me, give us a great comeback, a long overtime, and then the Sharks can win in seven.

Not sure it's the sole reason, but it is interesting to see a seemingly completely different Sharks team after changing coaches. Whatever Deboer is doing is working. Sharks are skating so well right now.

Joe Thornton being captain was obviously the problem.

Yes he has. I was expecting more from him. And, finally a goal from Tarasenko. Jumbo Joe will hopefully win his cup.

Tarasenko with a pretty big fist pump for a 4-1 goal.

Way to go, Tarasenko. Way to show up when it really matters. Good job buddy.

Yep. In the opening, he held the Sharks dressing room door open as the team came out for the first period. He was high diving the players as they headed to the ice.
