The worst casting was Renly.
Book Renly: Charismatic knight who earned devotion with his manly and noble ways.
TV Renly: IT administrator at the BBC who moderates a Radiohead fansite in his spare time.

That award goes to the 2-4 actors playing the mountain.
Huge important character in the book, TV show viewers only understand who he is when he does the duel.

It was still a dick move. Thankfully the mods deleted it.
EDIT: And actually I have a feeling they might with Brienne heading off to find the Blackfish.

Someone remind me, the books have Brienne looking for Sansa when she comes across Septon Meribald and the Elder Brother (who reveals Arya is still alive), correct? Who tags along with her?

Isn't it Jaime? If I recall from the books, Jaime and Brienne were about to be hung by Stoneheart.

Yeah if I remember correctly it was Jamie. He was still the newly transformed 'good-guy' then.
Not sure where the show Jamie sits at the moment...

Nah it was Brienne and Podrick. Brienne comes back from that looking completely ghost-like and then sets off with Jamie again, I'm assuming to bring him to Lady Stoneheart.

That was Ian McShane and he basically admitted he was talking about the Hound.

Yea if I remember right he got mad when fans were pissed at him for the spoiler, told them to stop taking the show to serious or something.

That's right. And she only swore 'sword' in order to save Pod.
I thought there was someone else helping her along the way, but I think she just comes across so many people after fleeing Renly's tent it's hard to keep track.

I've read DWD at least twice, maybe 3 times, and I legitimately have no memory of this. I'm going to have to re-read when if WoW ever comes out.

I just remembered Aegon Targaryen - does anyone still think he turns up in the show? Seems unlikely now since Tyrion never met him, and it would be quite the shocker at this point. So does GRRM just give him a quick demise in the books (as in, he's an imposter) to fit the show?
So many questions. The "song of ice and fire" is supposed to be his according to the books... and the dragon has "three heads". I guess Bran, Jon, and Dany now?

I thought they did hang her....no? Did Pod just get it?
What character is Ian McShane going to be playing? I think his quote was something along the lines of "Beat it dorks; it's just tits and dragons."

I don't think anyone, including Martin, has any idea where the books are going. They should be wrapping up, not getting bigger and more unwieldy but he just keeps adding characters...

As someone mentioned above Pod and Brienne were saved when Brienne agreed to kill Jaime for zombie cat and the brotherhood.
McShane is rumored to play Septon Meribald and/or the Elder Brother. Possibly an amalgamation of the two.

I doubt Aegon is actually Aegon in the books, or that he'll show up in the show.
My guesses are still Jon, Dany, and Tyrion for the three heads. Bran will serve only to reveal Jon's true parentage. And I'm thinking Arya will serve to end everything by eliminating the person who started everything unravelling - Littlefinger.
