It was a great pilot. I didn't like how the male nurse's brother was the one that could fly.

The male nurse seemed more...."hero like."

I also am a huge fan of Firefly, and Lost. I wish Firefly would come back though....incredible show.

lol...well I didn't realize so many would be waiting for my thoughts on this show.

Just watched it and I liked it...a lot. I was worried that it would be too hokey but it has a much different feel to it than I anticipated. I like the fact that the "powers" haven't really been defined yet - we know these characters can do something but we are largely not sure what the powers are yet.

Now, one of my favourite element of any comic book/super hero story has always been the "origins of". I loved the movie Unbreakable for this reason, and this show has a very similar tone to that film. I also really enjoyed the latest Batman movie for similar reasons. If you like that type of thing, than this show is probably right up your alley.

Too many good shows on this season so far - Studio 60, Kidnapped, and now Heros. I gotta cut something out of my TV schedule.

BTW - for anyone that missed this tonight, NBC is replaying the pilot Tuesday night. Worth checking out.

But The Wire...what a great show.
I think House is one of, if not the best show on TV right now.
I wanted to see Heros but forgot to watch. Hope I can catch it again.

Anyone else crack up at the two Japanese guys singing I want it that way by the Backstreet Boys? Homage to that infamous internet video from a couple years back.

I enjoyed the Heroes pilot enough to watch it again. I think it's a show that will take a few weeks to get the characters and storylines sufficiently introduced to really get into it. And really I need something to watch on Monday nights since Prison break has essentially been crap since the first 10 shows or so.

The other new show I enjoyed right out of the gate was Smith. I thought the pilot was quite good and I think it has the chance to push the limits of american TV the way NYPD Blue did in it's early years.

Useful enough that you used it already and commented on how useful it was in finding your query on a variety of subjects?

I sure did. My girlfriend didn't get it at all. When I explained it she asked 'what is it you do on the Internet exactly?'

My guess is that they both can fly. They're brothers they probably have the same special gene.

I don't know about this show but that new show with Anne Heche, aka-girlfriend of Ellen Degeners, sucks so hard. My girlfriend was watching it the other night and it was painful.

I believe it was the artist guy. It would appear that the teleporter has also seen the future and it will remain to be seen whether he and the rest of the "Heroes" can change it.

What's with the Brain removal?

And the cheerleader's creepy Dad? He's deeply involved methinks, and not in a good way either.
