Probably blocked it out.
It led to a bunch of comments about how great Hall and Eberle were, how they looked so great on a line with Crosby, and how McDavid could so the same thing for them with the Oilers.
Then a bunch of B.S. that they were growing as players, and were winners, blah blah blah.
Then they were the same terrible losers when they returned to Edmonton.
