1. Matt Murray- most likely not available, but what the heck. Potential franchise goalie.
2. Andrei Vasilevsky- Young, experienced, primed to break out in my opinion.
3. Marc-Andre Fleury- Could be a nice veteran stop gap to help the rebuild. Apparently he is universally loved by his teammates.
4. James Reimer- probably not a popular choice, but only comes at the cost of his cap hit. If we acquired a 1B type/ younger type I would be okay with rolling with a tandem.
5. Frederick Anderson- Solid goalie with some valuable experience. Would be worried about the cost.
This is just off the top of my head. I would love John Gibson as well, but I'm not sure if he would be available at all.

I believe we'll take a run at Andrei Vasilevsky. With the way Bishop has performed this season/playoffs (last year too!) I could see Vasilevsky being available. I'd be willing to pay for him. Potential franchise goalie, young, and only getting better.
Frederick Anderson or Jake Allen would be my second target.
Then there is the stop-gap scenario while we wait/bank on Gillies development. Fleury, Elliot, Reimer, Ward, etc.

Would be ecstatic with:
Mason / Ortio
Pickard / Ortio
Neuvirth / Ortio
Allen / Ortio
Ortio / Grubauer
Ortio / Kuemper
Could live with:
Halak / Ortio
Reimer / Ortio
Ramo / Ortio

1) Anderson
2) Elliot
3) Bishop
4) Fleury
5) Reimer
Then the rest.
Honestly I'll be happy with almost anyone. Just no more Hiller please. (Or anyone on a similar career trajection)

Picked Fleury.
Guy has silently 340 wins and still gets no talk or respect.
Love to see him finish here a flame

Didn't realize it posted the post before I finished creating the poll...
Reason for including:
Bishop, Ben (UFA next year, TBL has a younger G they'd want to keep)
Condon, Mike (UFA next year, Carey Price)
Elliott, Brian (UFA next year, Jake Allen)
Fleury, Marc-Andre (Might want to trade vs losing him in expansion draft)
Hutchinson, Michael (RFA this year, Pavalec UFA next year, Hellebucyk RFA next year)
Mrazek, Petr (RFA this year, will want to be starter but Howard locked up until 2019)
Ortio, Joni (was pretty good down the stretch for us)
Ramo, Karri (was pretty good after Christmas before injury)
Reimer, James (UFA this year, young, (I think) very good)
Reason for not including:
Murray, Matt (possible before playoffs but pipe dream now)
Let me know if I've missed anyone, and I'll add them!
Edit: I almost left Mrazek off, because technically Detroit's in the same position with Howard/Mrazek as Pittsburgh is with Fleury/Murray. Unlike Fleury, though, I can't see anyone wanting to take Howard even in an expansion draft, so Mrazek may force a trade in order to start somewhere.

I would love if we can get our hands on Bishop.
If not, Reimer would be a solid free agent signing at the right price

Crap, I missed Anderson! Also, I don't think I can edit the poll now (which makes sense, in hindsight).
Oh well, I can total up write-in votes and post them in the OP.

Taking a while to get to 5000

I went with Bishop but I become more convinced as time passes that a lot of these guys won't be available this offseason if at all, and the Flames may look at guys like Neuvirth or Kuemper to see how they play out this year.

I believe in the Jays.

I pick Reimer.
A: He's a very under-appreciated Goalie.
B: Still on the younger side (for a goalie)
C: Goalie market looks like a buyers market so I think we can get him at a reasonable price
D: Won't cost anything except money.
Everyone else will cost significantly to much in either dollars or assets (or both).

Do not want Reimer.
Honestly, I dont think hes any better than anything we already have. If we want a mediocre goalie that costs nothing but money we can re-sign Ramo.

Picked Fleury out of those listed. Korpisalo is my wish though.

I think there's potential for Elliot to be available, just because he'll be a 32 year-old UFA next year, whereas Allen will be a 26 year-old RFA. Right now, potential suitors can logically expect at least one good season out of Elliot by getting him going into his contract year. This makes his value significantly higher for STL this offseason than as a rental at next year's deadline. "Rental" is best-case, by the way, because that will mean he's had another great season and teams are clamoring to pick him up for the playoffs. Otherwise he's had a not so great year, and now STL will want anything they can get vs losing him for nothing.
TLDR: I really think his max value is this offseason. Otherwise he's a (best case) rental or (not best case) someone their offloading for whatever they can get. I think if St Louis wins the Cup, Elliot hits the market the very next day. Even if they don't, I still think the smart money is on moving him now vs later.

Reimer is better then Ramo. Plus, the latest we had on Ramo was that the recovery time on his injury was into October so he's not even a real option.

I personally picked Reimer because I think he was really good in TO considering the team in front of him. Also, he's relatively young for a starting G, and he's a UFA which means he won't cost us any assets.
