Some weird power dynamics in Meereen, but I think it will be interesting in the end. Might put Tyrion at odds with Daenerys in the future.
And absolutely no mention of Dorne.

Should the Tyrell family trust the Lannisters? Could be the Lannisters switch at the last moment, protect the high sparrow and help destroy much of the Tyrells. Will likely also weaken the sparrow with no blame to the Lannisters.. Cersei could see the queen dead.
As soon as the old lady of the Martels (I forget her name) started to agree with Jamie and Cersei, I thought "oh no you are dead and so is Margaery."
Enjoyed the Stark reunion as well. Sansa has certainly come a long way.

Agreed on the Kings Landing story. No way Cersei is being honest about helping the Tyrells. She's got something up her sleeve for sure.

Yeah, it's my understanding that she wanted to be consulted about the nudity, and to have the final say over whether it happens or not, as opposed to "never again". Which...makes a lot of sense.

Fun episode, almost feels like a reset as more armies are gearing up for battle against. Tyrion seems settled and in his element again too. This is Hand of the King Tyrion.
Got a little nasty eyed at the Stark reunion, and I love the leadership Sansa showed as well.

What did Tyrion say about trusting the Masters? He doesn't trust them, but he trusts their self-interests. Or something like that. Seems applicable to Olenna's willingness to work together with the Lannisters.

I'm really enjoying this season so far.
Only gripe with this last episode is how convenient it is Littlefinger has Sweetrobin wrapped around his finger. He's been living at that Lord's castle for a year or more, no? And he's totally indifferent to him, wants to throw him out the moon door.

Tormund and Brienne has to be the worst meet cute on TV in a long time...that being said, he made love to a bear, and she fought one so they're a match made in heaven.
anyways, if I have to sit through another smug High Sparrow monologue, I'm going to stab my TV. that guy has topped Ramsay as most annoying leader in Westeros. but I suspect we'll have to wait until episode 9 or 10 before frankenmountain squeezes his gooey brain out of his nose.
oh one more thing, the Dothraki need a less dangerous way of lighting their extremely flammable temple (made out of gasoline?) than having open torches standing about. what if one of the khals got a little too tipsy one night and stumbled into one? and that policy of no weapons in the city seems a little risky, anyone with an army could just march in there and take them all out. unless they're all very adept at hucking rocks in battle.

I'm skeptical. There seems to be some salt about Jon letting the wildlings through, and I don't see them coming back from giving up Rickon to the enemy. But I could be wrong!

Exactly - it's not his show anymore. He had his chance to finish things up and he did comic cons instead.

My wife and I cracked up watching both scenes they were a part of. Tormund was practically licking his lips.

Had an idea!
|
So there are 100,000 Dothraki.
And supposedly only 5,000 men in the Bolton army. And 2,000 Wildlings.
Am I missing something? If the Dothraki go to war who can possibly stop them?

The dothraki are afraid of salt water and boats.
They are also similar to the wildlings in that they have no central leader (until now?) and aren't very good at organized warfare the way Westerosi's fight.

They have certainly set the stage for a lot of conflict going forward. Civil War in King's Landing, the Snowbowl at Winterfell, Dany marching her horde back to Mereen (and hopefully beyond), and the Iron Born getting in on the action.
Anyone else suspicious about Littlefinger's phrasing: It's time we join the fray...or is it Frey?

I know she didn't have a big role but I kind of liked Osha. Shame she had to die that way.

And if we think bigger picture, I have to think that the reason that scene was included in the episode was to establish that Ramsey is always suspicious and that the Umber visitors maybe aren't exactly allies to Ramsay. I know Osha isn't an Umber but honestly otherwise there was no point to the scene. Why did they have to show us her trying to kill him or him knowing she was allied to the Starks, other than to set the stage for future episodes?
