Whatever, a 2nd, Jokipakka, and Pollok is still a friking steal for Russell. It was nice to hope for a 1st but this draft seems so unpredictable that we could use the 3 2nd rounders as some good trade chips to either move up or trade for a goalie.

Flames also weren't leading 5-0 into the third... it was 5-0 into the 2nd

I feel worse for Dallas fans than Flames fans as the moment they made that trade with the Flames they never really had a chance as their fate was sealed. If it meant good fortune for the Flames involving the draft there was never a chance of the Stars getting into the Conference Finals.

They have both of these guys locked up for two more seasons. They really don't have a lot of options unless they can find a sucker GM to take one of them off their hands.
