The way the Penguins dominated the Caps in OT reminded me of our Game 5 OT against the Ducks last year. Right down to the GWG.

Doesn't want one of his relatives getting a poison tipped umbrella in the leg

I tried to work in some mafia joke, but I'm too distraught at the loss tonight.
I seriously wanted Ovi to win the Cup this year.

ESPN has their 3 keys to the Caps off-season up already. That was quick.

Kessel winning the Cup less than a year after being traded because the Toronto media ran him out of town would be hilarious.

Yeah I may be labelled a traitor and all... but I hope the Sharks win now, despite being from our division. Too many players I like on that team with no cup, plus they're the lesser evil of the California rivals.

I know it's the East but interesting how arguably the two most skill over size teams (with really good goaltending) made the East finals.

Not adding depth to the d core came back to haunt the Caps.
Not sure a team should count on Taylor Chorney and Mike Weber as depth come playoff time.

If only Hamhuis would waive for Washington...

Bonino going beast mode is great too. Remember when Benning traded him for Sutter...and gave up a 2nd round pick that trade? Ha.
Bonino got more playoff points for the Penguins in 2 rounds than Sutter got for them this year. Ouch.

Honestly, I kinda want the Penguins to win it all to spite the Leafs(Kessel), Canucks(Bonino), Oilers (Schultz), and Ducks (Hagelin).
And for good measure, the "dynasty" Blackhawks (Daley) though I don't hate them.

Glad Pittsburgh won, lots to like on that team. Sheary, Murray, Cole, Cullen, Rust, Haglein address all great stories playing good hockey. Sullivan deserves credit as well.
I'm firmly with Pittsburgh in the next round.

It is interesting how the media has done a complete 180 on Jim Rutherford. Last season a lot of them were crucifying him. This year just singing his praises.

Can't disappoint all the life long Pens fans from Cole Harbour that always show up at the Dome for Pens games now can you.

Makes you wonder if any of the eastern teams would be able to make it out of the Pacific or the Central.

Would he even get his name on the cup? Only has played 3 games so far and would need an injury to get any games in the finals. He's still awful.

That may just be the exact argument Oilers fans use to make themselves feel better. As a Flames fan, it's hilarious regardless.
