If it does happen to come here a month or so after the release I'll be going for sure.

I've always just bought them the day of the movie. Although I think it will be popular this Friday night, I don't think you'll have too much trouble if you just get them Friday.

Yeah, I'll have to check that out, maybe not in the theaters though.

I catch the show once in a while and it's pretty funny at times.

Considering I'm the only one in the house that can stand to watch TPB, I won't be seeing this for a while... maybe when it premieres on Showcase?

I'll definately check this movie out!

When I went to Halifax for a conference last year I got to meet Mr.Lahey because he did this documentary and they showed it. Great guy, down to Earth, and surprisingly intelligent and not perma-drunk.

Funny thing was, the day before I was watching CBC Newsworld in Calgary and he was on talking about how Nova Scotia was getting rid of a bunch of VLTs... anyway, the last thing he said on air was "It's bull-****!" So when I met him, I said I caught his interview and I was surprised that you could say that on CBC at noon. He said something along the lines of "hopefully you got more from the interview than that" and we had a pretty in-depth conversation, apparently he is a recovering problem gambler.

Finally got around to seeing this. Didn't seem like much more than a long tv episode. Not complaining though, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but nothing to exciting.

It did seem like a long episode except for the fact that there were boobies and the language was ramped up an extra notch because it was the movies.

Heli##########!

is it possible to make a tv show -> movie transition WITHOUT being a long episode?

episodes are 22 or 44 minute plots, movies are 80+ minute plots with the same characters.

Agreed! I got exactly what I was expecting and I had a great time watching! My highlights had to be:

1) Ricky, Julian and Bubbles playing 'chicken' with Randy and Mr Lahey
2) Bubbles saying: "Ricky, kitties aren't supposed to smell like smoke, they're supposed to smell like kitties!'
3) Seeing Lahey's '**** attack' on Bubbles
