YES! Game 4's are so important. Such a huge win for the Stars.

So you're saying there's a chance we have two first rounders...

Seguin has been skating three days in a row too, Ruff said he'd need 4 so fingers crossed. Benn is one of my favourite players to watch, except against the flames when he gets five points or whatever.

It's especially frustrating because the NHL puts out a pronunciation guide for the media.

Faksa Radek (FAK-suh, RA-dehk)
Nichushkin Valeri (nih-CHOOSH-kihn, val-AIR-ee)
Stastny Paul (STAS-nee, PAWL)

Though to be fair, the guide also says:
Ferland Michael (FAIR-land, MIGH-kuhl)

Regardless of how the games played condition is written (whether it's half of all games Dallas plays,or half of each round), Russell has now played the required number of games to get the Flames the first rounder.

All that remains is for the Stars to win two more games.

Well thankfully I don't think they'll be putting Niemi back in this series. Best of 3 now with Dallas having home ice. Let's hope their injured are back soon.

For the second time tonight, we are talking overtime!

Donskoi or Neal for the winning goal.

Wrong thread dude.

Seriously though, massive test of character for Dallas to come back and win this game, especially after the way they got rocked in game 3. I do love it when things are tied after 4 and it is essentially a new best of 3 series. You can really feel the tension and drama ramping up once you hit game 6. Come on Stars, you can do this.

So that's where the consistently weird pronunciations for Finnish names come from By a quick glance about 50% of the weights are wrong there.

Vahatalo:
not vah-hah-TAL-oh but VAH-hah-TAL-oh

Tuohimaa:
Not too-OH-hay-ma but TOO-oh-he-MA

Teräväinen:
Not tehr-a-VIGH-nuhn but TEHR-A-vighn-nehn

Maybe its the pessimist in me, but I feel like the Stars are kind of hanging on here and not really in the drivers seat. In any case, it's best of 3 now with home ice advantage. I don't see any way the Stars win 3 in a row, so I feel like best case it is coming back to Dallas for Game 7. And as we all know, anything can happen...

Listening to NHL network radio yesterday and some Stars fans were calling in. Of course slamming their goalies but also very critical of Russell. Too small and not what they needed.

Most people point to the Hamilton trade as BT's big win but I think that was close to market value. But I don't know how he convinced Nill to add the condition of the 2nd rounder turning into a 1st in the Russell deal. Nill should have laughed in his face.

Don't think it's that bleak. The Blues are a great team, but the Stars are too ... just need decent goaltending in order to skate with the Blues. Oh, and getting that Seguin fella back wouldn't hurt ...

If they can get Seguin into this series, it'll change things up greatly. Spezza is great but he's their #2 and does his best work when Seguin is healthy.

Jim Nill might be a bigger wizard than Brad Treliving.

The low cost of acquisition for Spezza, Seguin, & Sharp is ridiculous.
