Default Stamps @ Argo's

Well, down 2 TD's Calgary gets a turn-over and a TD, just over 1 min left they get the onside kick and now marching downfield to tie it up.

Good game.

I must admit that was pretty bad. He had control after contact and then lost the ball. It should have been a catch. I felt even more sorry for Johnson because he dropped 2 passes earlier that a 3 year old could have caught.

i can't believe that, that is an absolute abomination of a call. Even the CBC guys couldn't believe it.

and guess what? the CFL won't make anyone accountable.

less than :30 on the clock, about the 20, 2nd down, behind 1 TD.

Burris throws to Johnson, he catches it, is hit, does like a 360 in the air and lands inside the 10(?). When he lands, he HAS control of the ball for several bounces on the ground and on the third bounce it slips out.

CBC announcers are saying that its 100% a catch.

They reviewed it for about a minute, come onto the field and say:

"There was no evidence that the ball was recieved, 3rd down"

3rd down is a bust, game over.

Wow. That was bad.

All four of the ex-CFL players on the panel with CBC even called that a catch.

Even the refs on the field called it a catch. They went to a commercial break, and the guys upstairs (in Toronto) called downstairs for an "Offical" review. That's when they overturned the catch and made it 3rd and 10 with 15 seconds left.

Looks like the "Toronto Bounce" strikes again.

Wow...Calls like that are the reason so many people don't like the CFL. The professionalism is just not there in some cases. I guess the league can't find qualified people to work at those positions at the wage they're able to pay...truly unfortunate.

...The stamps didn't deserve that game anyways, they crapped their pants on several possesions.

Well they are the center of the universe right?!?!?
If the CFL wants to have replays they need refs and officals that can use them fairly and properly.

Exactly. League is a joke on the calls alot of the time.

I like the CFL and have been a fan for years but the NFL is alot better in those regards. NFL > CFL.

Absolutely ludicrous, especially in a win or lose situation. The CFL should be ashamed of themselves.

I totally agree with this. Sure, everyone is talking about the blown call at the end, but man... Let's see.

1. Way, way too many penalties in the first half. Marching backwards OUT of the score zone with 3 straight penalties?? Brutal.

2. I hate that soft zone defence that allows the 7 yard pass that's been ripping our defence apart all year.

3. Burris with 2 interceptions at vital points in the game. Just awful decisions.

4. Dropped passes all over the place. Is the new football THAT hard to hang on to??

Awful game. Tough to watch. I guess the Stamps are shooting for second because they don't want the 3 week break before the playoffs.

Looked like the ref only looked at replays for 23 seconds.

A Stamp after the game said the ref on the spot ruled it a catch and fumble. Anothe ref rushed in and told him the ground can't cause a fumble. Then a bunch of other refs signaled incomplete.

Someone should get suspended.

Really? Did you see the NFL playoffs last year? Refs were blowing big calls left and right.

The CFL itself should be ashamed and mad - there's a chance for them to showcase how exciting the league can be, and how no lead is safe at any time (unlike the NFL) and possibly go into overtime - yet Ireland and Black F*** it up royally and show just how incompetent the league is.
