Oh damn... A second round with no Hawks, no Rangers, no Kings and still possibly no Ducks... This is different, that's for sure.

Yah sure whatever. Just none of the usual suspects. I want some new blood.

Edit: though I do want to see more anti Jbo whining. That's not 1st round pick good but it is fun now. And guaranteed fun. A first round is months away and may never amount to anything.

Moreover a first vs a second is nice but isn't really a huge deal. Drafting twenty something vs fifty something likely doesn't affect the flames long term very much. This Saturday is probably about 20 times more important.

Doubly pleased at that result.

1, its nice to see the Blues get past the Hawks, but also get past themselves. That was probably the biggest hurdle for them.

2, its great to see a whole host of fresh faces going deep in the Western conference. Would be amazing if the Preds could knock off the Ducks on Wednesday as well.

Can't wait for round 2.
