Well, credit to the Flyers for making it a bit more respectable, but the Caps had way too much for them.

2nd round between Crosby and Ovi should be epic.

I definitely want to see OV raise the cup. It would be one of those memorable moments ala Bourque or Lanny. My dream final is Caps vs Sharks. 1 step closer!

Schenn will get suspended for that high hit on Oshie......straight to the head.

And plus his team is now out of the playoffs so the NHL can hand down a suspension and pretend they're really being tough on hits like that.

Semi serious, semi sarcastic. I hate the Sid/Ovi hype.

So long flyers. Good run to make it into the playoffs, but ran into the wrong team. Giroux especially looked gassed -- uncharacteristic from a guy who is a point per game in the playoffs. He also absorbed a ton of hits. Flyers didn't generate enough chances or capitalize on the chances they had.

Capitals didn't look that impressive to me. Did just enough to win their games. 5 even strength goals in 6 games isn't going to cut it against the better teams. I would peg Pittsburgh as the favorite at this point.

They remind me of the 2010 Vancouver Canucks. As long as they keep getting powerplays they'll do okay but once they go far enough and those dry up they have nothing else in the tank.

Regardless of hype, this year it is two exciting teams playing great hockey. Should be an amazing series!

I remember it like it was yesterday. Fleury played the best hockey of his career, unfortunately someone named Trevor let the team down.

Yep, that pain never goes away. We can also add Bure and McLean from a year earlier along with Tikkanen and Fuhr.
